During May 2017 AESPUMP went through their first surveillance SHEQ system audit after recertification in 2016. LRQA, the certification body conducted the audit on the 18th May 2017.
The aim of the visit was to verify the AESPUMP’s Integrated Management System is complaint to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS: 18001:2007.
During the audit it was evident that AESPUMP and the SHEQ department’s team work was their success on the day.
The difficult part of the audit was the unknown. AESPUMP was audited by a new Lead auditor (contractor) with twenty two years’ experience.
Everyone involved was positive and ready for the audit.
The final assessment outcome was the following;
Based on the audit result, it can be concluded that the Integrated Management System implemented in AESPUMP (Pty) Ltd, was found to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007.
No non-conformance was raised. A high level of commitment was demonstrated throughout the audit.
AESPUMP continues to comply with standard requirements.
